Class & Workshop Term and Conditions

Bookings & Payment

  • All workshops and classes must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  • This is because flowers and materials are perishable and ordered specifically for each attendee, and I commit to those costs as soon as you book.

  • Your place is only secured once payment has been received.

Cancellations by You

  • Once booked, places are non-refundable.

  • If you are unable to attend due to illness, personal circumstances, or any other reason, I’m very sorry but no refund can be offered.

  • This is similar to booking theatre or event tickets — your place is reserved and materials prepared specifically for you.

  • You are welcome to gift or transfer your place to someone else — just let me know their name in advance.

Cancellations or Changes by Me

  • I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class if necessary (for example due to illness, venue issues, or circumstances outside my control).

  • If I cancel a class, you will be offered:

    • A full refund, or

    • A transfer to an alternative class/date (your choice).

Minimum Numbers

  • Some classes require a minimum number of participants to go ahead.

  • If minimum numbers are not met, I may cancel or reschedule the class and will offer you a refund or transfer.

COVID or Similar Widespread Disruption

  • In the event of government restrictions, public health guidance, or similar situations (e.g. COVID-type events) that make the class unsafe or illegal to run:

    • The class will be postponed or cancelled.

    • You will be offered a refund or a credit towards a future class.

  • No additional compensation beyond the class fee can be offered.

Force Majeure (Things Outside Anyone’s Control)

  • I cannot be held responsible for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond my control such as extreme weather, power outages, venue closure, transport disruption, or national emergencies.

  • In these cases, you will be offered a refund or transfer, but no further liability is accepted.

Late Arrival / No-Shows

  • If you arrive late, I will do my best to help you catch up, but cannot guarantee the full experience.

  • No refunds or partial refunds are available for late arrivals or non-attendance.

Health & Safety

  • Please let me know in advance if you have any allergies (e.g. pollen, latex, specific flowers).

  • You attend classes at your own risk and are responsible for following any safety guidance given during the workshop.

Photography & Marketing

  • Photos or short videos may be taken during classes for marketing purposes.

  • If you would prefer not to appear in any content, please let me know — I will always respect this.

Acceptance of Terms

  • By booking a class, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Funeral & Farewell Flowers Terms and Conditions

Placing an Order

  • All funeral and farewell flower orders are made bespoke, to reflect the person being remembered and the wishes of their family.

  • Once an order is confirmed, I immediately begin sourcing flowers and materials specifically for that design.

Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of ordering, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

  • This is because flowers and materials are perishable and ordered specifically for your tribute.

Cancellations by You

  • Once an order has been placed and confirmed, it is non-refundable, as flowers will already have been ordered and prepared.

  • If you need to make changes (e.g. colour, size, or message) please contact me as soon as possible — I will always do my best to accommodate where timing and flower availability allows.

Cancellations or Changes by Me

  • In the unlikely event that I am unable to fulfil your order (for example due to illness, supplier failure, or circumstances beyond my control), I will:

    • Inform you as soon as possible, and

    • Offer a full refund, or where appropriate, help you find an alternative florist.

Flower Availability

  • Flower varieties and colours are subject to seasonal and supplier availability.

  • Where specific flowers are unavailable, I will substitute with the closest possible alternative, always aiming to maintain the look, feel, and value of your chosen design.

Design Interpretation

  • My work is natural, seasonal, and bespoke — every arrangement is unique.

  • While I always work closely with your wishes and any reference images shared, I cannot guarantee an exact replication of another florist’s work or a photograph, as flowers are natural and vary.

Delivery

  • Delivery times are agreed in advance, often in coordination with funeral directors.

  • While I take every care to deliver on time, I cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond my control (e.g. traffic incidents, severe weather, venue access issues).

COVID or Similar Widespread Disruption

  • If government restrictions or public health guidance prevent me from fulfilling an order as agreed, I will contact you promptly to discuss:

    • A revised delivery plan, or

    • A refund where fulfilment is not possible.

Force Majeure

  • I cannot be held liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond my control, such as extreme weather, transport disruption, power outages, national emergencies, or supplier closures.

  • In such cases, I will always act in good faith to support you with alternatives or refunds where appropriate.

Care & Responsibility

  • Once flowers have been delivered to the agreed location, responsibility passes to the recipient or venue.

  • Flowers are a natural product and their condition can be affected by temperature, handling, and environment.

Photography

  • With your permission, I may photograph finished work for my portfolio or marketing.

  • No identifying details will ever be shared without consent.

Complaints or Concerns

  • If you have any concerns, please contact me as soon as possible so I can address them with care and sensitivity.

Acceptance of Terms

  • By placing an order, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
